Using Probabilistic Reasoning to Identify Delusions

Summary:

This project will explore whether participants with a diagnosis of schizophrenia can use probabilistic reasoning to select between two choices. The intervention will be delivered through a phone application that allows users to play two variants of a simple game. If subjects can compute conditional probabilities, then posterior computation can perhaps be used to support individuals who experience delusions, as suggested in our article linked below.
