Peer-Counseling Training in China

Summary:

Can people receive psychological support and counseling from their peers in a high quality, useful and time-saving way? This longitudinal study investigates the validity of a peer-counseling training course based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) among a group of Chinese college students. We collected data before, after, and one year after the course taught by Dr. Rodriguez at Peking University in 2019. We are also tracking how students use DBT skills to help themselves and provide emotional support for their peers.
